To stop all of this, to save the one that haunted his dreams at night, to set everything right. He could feel himself second guessing his choices, so he kicked off the gravel of his driveway, and quickly ran into the night. He lifted his dark eyes up toward the house in front of him, looking it over one last time. Once the soft click sounded, he released the breath he didn’t know he was holding in, before dropping his arms to his side with a sigh. Those things fluttered around in his head as he pulled the door closed as quietly as he could behind himself.
He couldn’t be bothered with it though, he had too many other things on his mind for a strong breeze to blow away. The crisp night air, strung against the young man’s dark skin, as he crept from his home that night.
